Paestum
Paestum was a great city of ancient Greek situated on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea in southern Italy. The ancient ruins of Paestum are well known for their three beautifully preserved ancient Greek temples in the Doric order. There are you also found a modern national museum. The archaeological site covers a large part at Paestum.
The leaning tower of pisa
The Leaning Tower of Pisa began in the 1100s, but it was built over a period of 199 years. Because of inadequate foundation the tower began to sink at the time of construction. When the construction of the tower restarted, the engineers built the floors one side taller, to repair the tilt. At the top of the tower you get fabulous view of the city.
Colosseum
Colosseum is an oval shaped amphitheatre situated in the centre of Rome. This is the largest amphitheatre built by Roman Empire. The Colosseum is a must visit place by the travelers. Its construction was begun in 72 AD by Emperor Vespasian and was finished in 80 AD by his son Titus. Because of damage caused by stone-robbers and earthquakes, this is partially ruined, but still a splendid example of Imperial Rome.
Piazza del Campo
Piazza del Campo is considered as one of Europe’s prominent medieval squares. It is the core public space of the historic center of Siena at Tuscany. You will find the place is famous worldwide for its architectural integrity and beauty. The Palazzo Pubblico and several palazzi signorili belonging to the richest families of Siena surround the shell-shaped piazza. Horse race is held twice-a-year around the edges of the piazza.
